Back in Hong Kong on Thursday. The day included a visit to Principal Financial group, and then time to explore on our own! We heard the CFO and the Marketing Director speak about the investing culture in Hong Kong, and about the challenges with doing business with their headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa.
Then, some of us wandered around Hong Kong and found the Flower Market, the Bird Garden and then the Lady's Market. At the Bird Garden, song birds and ornate cages are bought & sold, and older gentlemen gather with their birds. There were a lot of birds that I had never seen before, and lots of pretty chirping.
